communication will be made, whether by meeting, email, report, or other. The plan should also identify
the parties responsible for initiating and tracking each type of communication and should state the
desired frequency of each communication. Finally, the communication plan should identify the expected
outcomes of the communication and specify responsibility for following up on any action items.

In building the communication plan each stakeholder group should be analyzed to determine their
support or opposition to the project. From that analysis, a specialized communication approach
can be incorporated into the overall plan.
